best price CC morgan in GSA box?
I want a CC morgan in a GSA box. Lowest price. What vendors are good?
redbook lists prices in ms60 for ccs in these dates, '83 and 84, at 250. I have seen a lot for under 200 but what else have you seen? Do the GSA boxes always rate MS or are some AU? thanks for your replies |

Re: best price CC morgan in GSA box?
$180-$220 for avg. dates seem about right lately.
I bought a few for $200 from my guy less than a year ago for $200 ea. Sold them on Ebay for a slight profit.... There are ones that say "Uncirculated" and others that do not. If you are thinking long, I would say that the "Unc." ones would be better 20 years from now. Edit: also, I don't know about PCGS, but I have seen them graded by NGC in unbroken GSA holders.... |
Re: best price CC morgan in GSA box?
I bought mine at the original GSA auctions way back when Richard Nixon was President. I think I paid near $100 each for all the different dates that were available back then. The best part though is the hand written note from tricky Dicky placed with each coin telling of their history. As you can see I'm a long term investor.:banghead:

i've been looking at these on ebay and they do seem kinda cool in those boxes.
seems like $175 is a good price for one. |
Re: best price CC morgan in GSA box?
I almost bought a raw CC morgan today for $75. prolly an 83 in good, if I recall correctly. Decided to work on my WLH holes instead.
